Big Day Birdwatch

Just a reminder that we are having our annual Big Day Birdwatch in Nidderdale AONB (our recording area) on Saturday 20th May. The object of the day is to see how many species of birds we can record as a club in our area. We hope to increase on last year’s record of 100 different species.
We would like as many club members as possible to take part. You can cover a small area like your garden (if you live in the AONB), go for a walk or drive round a larger area, on your own or as a group. Your list can be made at any time on the 20th May, if you have an hour to spare or want to be out all day it is up to you, all sightings are important.
Adrian will be in the Show ground car park in Pateley Bridge from 3pm if you want to meet and compare notes. You can submit your results in any form to Adrian who will then compile them for later publication.
It would be useful if you could let Adrian know in advance which area you intend to cover.
